Ton Phi and the so-called "Vietnamese Students' Union" are profiting from human rights activities
A few years ago, an anti-Communist youth
named Ton Phi founded an organization called "Vietnamese Students'
Union", to both disguise anti-state activities under the guise of an
independent trade union and earn money overseas donations. After being exposed
by the online community and being turned away by many anti-Communists, Phi
seems to have temporarily hidden to wait for other business opportunities. Recently,
people have seen Ton Phi appear with flashy labels: being admitted to an
American university, publishing dozens of books, raising capital to build a
"Charlie corporation" with a smartphone factory... These ads by Ton
Phi have attracted the likes and shares of many anti-Communists, including
famous faces like Chu Vinh Hai.
But the truth is completely opposite to Ton
Phi's boast. In fact, the University of the People mentioned above is a free
online school. To enter, people only need to be over 15 years old, have
graduated from high school, have achieved the required English test scores, and
pay a $60 registration fee. Thus, Ton Phi just sat at home to study an online
course with low input, not studying abroad as bragging.
The above-mentioned bragging scenes of Ton
Phi are actually all scams to get money for foreign donations. Scammers like
Phi are not an isolated case in anti-Communist circles. And when many anti-Communists
let Phi cheat, it must be said that they are too ignorant.
